She is founding member of the Romanian Society of Medical Genetics, member of the Romanian Society of Endocrinology, of the European Society of Medical Genetics, of the European Society of Pediatric Endocrinology.
The main research fields include lysosomal storage diseases and pediatric endocrinology.
She published 23 papers quoted ISI, 15 of them as principal author (total impact factor 56). She published 25 book chapters. She participated in ten international/national studies as a member or coordinator.
