Diana Miclea

Diana Miclea is Assistant Professor at “Iuliu Hațieganu” University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Cluj-Napoca and Senior Doctor in Medical Genetics, specialist in Pediatrics and Endocrinology with competence in General Ultrasounds (2017, “Iuliu Hatieganu” University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Cluj-Napoca), Pediatric Endocrinology and Diabetes (2011, Paris Diderot University, France), Classical and Molecular Cytogenetics (2014, Paris Descartes University, France), Clinical Dysmorphology and Developmental Disorders (2020, Paris Diderot University, France),  Reproduction Endocrinology (2020, Paris Sud University, France).

She had 11 international mobility grants (2009-2020), most of them in different genetic or endocrinology services from Paris, mainly in Robert Debre Hospital where she was initiated and studied different fields in molecular genetics, cytogenetics and molecular endocrinology. She achieved the PhD degree in 2013.

She is founding member of the Romanian Society of Medical Genetics, member of the Romanian Society of Endocrinology, of the European Society of Medical Genetics, of the European Society of Pediatric Endocrinology.

The main research fields include lysosomal storage diseases and pediatric endocrinology.

She published 23 papers quoted ISI, 15 of them as principal author (total impact factor 56). She published 25 book chapters. She participated in ten international/national studies as a member or coordinator.
