In 2024 and 2025 the European Commission has funded a series of national workshops to raise awareness on patients’ rights and obligations in cross-border healthcare, by improving information to patients and doctors. The workshops have been organised at national level by interested EU member states.
Save the date and register for the two upcoming national workshops. These workshops also aim at raising awareness on the existence of the European Reference Networks for rare diseases and their activities.
The first of the two workshops is organised by the Czech Republic will be held in Prague, on 26 September 2025.

The second workshop will be held in Groningen, the Netherlands, on 30 October 2025. The workshop is organised by the Ministry of Health, Welfare and Sport (Netherlands), the Federal Ministry of Health (Germany) and the Cross-border Institute of Healthcare Systems and Prevention (CBI).Â
