Simona Bucerzan

Simona Bucerzan is Assistant Professor at “Iuliu Hațieganu” University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Cluj-Napoca and senior doctor in Pediatrics and Medical Genetics in Medical Genetics Department of Emergency Clinical Hospital for Children.

She graduated at the “Iuliu Hatieganu” University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Cluj-Napoca (1989), she is senior doctor in Pediatrics (1998) and senior doctor in Medical Genetics (2015). The PhD degree was achieved in 2003.

The main research fields include lysosomal storage diseases and pediatric endocrinology (genetic rickets, osteogenesis imperfecta and other skeletal dysplasia).

She published 49 papers out of which 16 papers quoted ISI. Twenty-eight papers were published in abstract volumes of international scientific conferences and 159 in abstract volumes of national scientific conferences. She published 5 books as author or co-author. She participated in six international/national studies as a member or coordinator.
