PD Dr. Sarah Grünert is a paediatric metabolic specialist working at the University Children’s Hospital Freiburg.
She holds a medical degree from the Albert-Ludwigs-Universität Freiburg, where she completed her fellowship in Paediatrics. In 2011, she performed a postdoctoral research fellowship at the University Children’s Hospital Zürich, Switzerland.
Her main clinical and research interests are hepatic glycogen storage diseases, fatty acid oxidation defects and disorders of ketone body metabolism.
