2013-2016 – CHLN’s representative as a Expertise Center of Lysosomal Disorders and in the NDTLDC
2016 – CHLN Coordinator of the National Reference Centre in Hereditary Metabolic Disorders
CHLN Representative of the European Reference Network for Hereditary Metabolic Diseases, MetabERN.

Academic activity:

Teaching assistant at Medical School of Lisbon (FMUL) – sixth-grade students master ME and at Pharmaceutical Sciences in master-therapy clinical practice I and II (Pediatrics)
Mentorship of Master students from Lisbon Medical School and of Medical Pediatric residents and postgraduate activity in the formation of General Medical, Pediatrics, Genetics, Clinical Pharmacology and General Medical Practioner doctors.

Others functions:

2008-2013 – Member of the Board of Directors of the Portuguese Society of Metabolic Diseases (SPDM)
Participation in several national and international research projects and published several international peer reviewed clinical and scientific papers.
