As part of the EU4Health programme, the European Commission is organizing 10 national workshops to raise awareness about patients’ rights in cross-border healthcare (CBHC) and the European Reference Networks (ERNs) for rare diseases, as outlined in Directive 2011/24/EU.
Following successful workshops in Malta and Italy on 29 February and 11 April, respectively, a third workshop was held in Dublin on 17 June 2024. This event was organised and hosted by the Irish Health Service Executive (HSE) in collaboration with DG SANTE, the Commission’s Directorate-General for Health and Food Safety.
The next workshop (joint workshop between Greece and Cyprus) will be held in Athens, Greece, on 17 September. More information will follow.
