Italian Fabry Patients Annual Meeting – FLORENCE, ITALY  28th-29th MARCH 2020

Patients and specialists of Anderson-Fabry disease will meet in Florence, March 28th-29th, for the Annual Italian Meeting organized by AIAF Onlus, the Italian Anderson-Fabry Patients Association.

It is an important opportunity for the community of patients and their families to share their experiences and build a network. Moreover, we will go right to the core of important topics about the disease with doctors and specialists and give up-to-date information about new scientific discoveries in the field.

During the Meeting AIAF will hold the shareholder’s meeting, and present its old and new projects and activity. There will be sessions for different topics, several question times for patients, experiences of Health Coaching and patient empowerment held by experts. Activities, plays and socialization for young patients (9-25). A member of the Polish Fabry Patient Association, will present the situation in Poland and a lawyer of the Legal Help Desk of O.Ma.R. (Observatory for Rare Diseases), will speak about the rights of rare disease patients and the current Italian Legislation.

The Meeting has obtained the MetabERN, Telethon e Orphanet patronage and the support of O.Ma.R. and the Associazione Italiana Health Coaching.

The Meeting is open to patients and families, doctors, nurses, and caregivers. It is free for AIAF members and children Under 18. Registration required by March 20th.
