Education for PatientsEventsNetworks

The “ERNs towards integration” online event will take place on 30 November 2021 from 4 pm to 6 pm CET. The event is promoted by ERN ReCONNET, MetabERN, ERN BOND together with the Italian Federation of Associations of People with Rare Diseases (Uniamo FIMR Onlus), the National Centre for Rare Diseases of the Italian National Institute of Health (Istituto Superiore di Sanità), and ePAG Italia and will provide a valuable opportunity for rare disease stakeholders to network and broaden awareness about the role of the European Reference Networks in Italy and Europe.

The event will be held in Italian and builds on previous workshops and meetings that highlighted five main topics that are relevant and transversal across the ERN Community: patient involvement, care pathways, education and training, clinical trials and research and guidelines.

Participants will include rare disease coordinators of Italian regions, patients’ associations, hospital managers, health directors and chief medical officers, Rare Disease Registry and rare disease centres managers, political representatives, pharmaceutical industries, general practitioners. Every Italian stakeholder involved in the rare diseases field will be very welcome to attend the event.
