Our Healthcare Provider Representatives from the University Clinical Hospital of Santiago de Compostela in Spain, in collaboration with the coordination office of MetabERN have created an informative video on their experience in using the Clinical Patient Management System (CPMS) to promote the use of the platform among the centres and share their success story.
The CPMS is a telehealth platform provided by the European Commission that aims at supporting ERNs in improving the diagnosis and treatment of rare or low prevalence complex diseases across borders of European Member States. The platform provides tools for virtual consultations, enabling health professionals to enrol patients and share clinical information with other experts within and across ERNs safely and anonymously. The CPMS allows to carry out collaborative diagnosis and treatment using a multidisciplinary approach in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation.
