Updated content and easily accessible information for the whole rare metabolic disease community.

MetabERN is thrilled to announce the launch of its newly redesigned website (metab.ern-net.eu).

Streamlined menu, coherent and aesthetic home page, dedicated publications and guidelines page, a dedicated page to patient organisations and patient resources for rare diseases information are, among others, the new features of the redesigned website.

“Reaching close the first five years of the project, we felt the need to provide our community with an even more accessible and comprehensive tool to communicate and reach out to our members and patients”, said Maurizio Scarpa, Coordinator of MetabERN. “Our renewed user-friendly news and events section is ready to host all types of announcements relevant to the rare metabolic community of MetabERN”.

The website’s content is targeted at various stakeholders including patients, caregivers, healthcare providers involved in the field of inherited metabolic diseases (IMDs), decision-makers, media and other organisations involved in the field of rare diseases. MetabERN is the first most comprehensive, pan-metabolic, pan-European, patient-centred virtual network of healthcare providers involved in the field of IMDs across Europe. MetabERN is one of the 24 European Reference Networks supported by the European Commission with the aim to tackle complex or rare diseases that require highly specialised treatment and concentrated knowledge and resources.
