‘Un Amico Raro’ – An animated cartoon to explain the Anderson-Fabry disease
Press event in Italian
We are delighted to be partners of this inspiring and creative project for the #fabryawarenessmonth.
‘Un Amico Raro’, the special episode of the animated tv series “Leo da Vinci” broadcast on Rai Ragazzi, depicts the story of a young kid living in the 16th century suffering from Anderson-Fabry disease.
AIAF ONLUS, in collaboration with ALCUNI Animation Studios and the Multidisciplinary team for Metabolic disorders of adults of the University Hospital of Padua, has created an imaginary journey in history to promote awareness of Anderson-Fabry disease.
The project will be presented this Thursday, 22 April, at 11.00 in live streaming on the Facebook page of AIAF Onlus – Associazione Italiana Anderson-Fabry Onlus.
During the event, representatives of scientific societies and other institutions will discuss challenging topics related to the Anderson-Fabry disease, including the quality of life of patients and issues that emerged during the COVID-19 outbreak.
Visit AIAF Onlus – Associazione Italiana Anderson-Fabry Onlus Facebook page to follow the press event and watch the preview of ‘Un Amico Raro’.
