Join the Rare Neurotransmitter Diseases (RND) Researchers Forum which will take place on May 16, 2025, in Zagreb, Croatia, under the theme: “Connecting the Network: From Basic Research and Clinical Phenotypes to Patient Voice.”
The aim of this event is to contribute to knowledge exchange on research advancements, diagnostic tools, and treatment modalities and provide an opportunity for experts to gather insights from patient-led organisations and patients themselves. The forum will bring together healthcare professionals, researchers, caregivers, and families.
The RND Researchers Forum intends to strengthen and enlarge the RND network, particularly emphasising the involvement of young researchers, which will further stimulate research and innovation in this field. The Forum seeks to align experts on the latest scientific developments, identify key research gaps, and establish shared, patient-driven research priorities.
The event is brought together by the patient organisation Lil’ Brave One (Hrabrisa) in collaboration with the iNTD International Working Group on Neurotransmitter-Related Disorders and the Croatian Paediatric Society, Section for Metabolic Diseases and supported by the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative.
