Area of expertise and the Healthcare Provider’s contribution to care for patients within the MetabERN Network

The CHL is an approved training ground for the training of doctors, pharmacists and biologists by the Belgian Ministry of Health and directly by several Belgian, French and German universities. Since 2008, it has been recognized by the University of Saarland as ” Akademisches Lehrkrankenhaus der Universität des Saarlandes“. It actively participates in the teaching provided to doctors in specific training, in general medicine and to medical students at the University of Luxembourg.

Medical research at the CHL is structured around two axes: laboratory research, in collaboration with the Luxembourg Institute of Health (LIH), and clinical research through often multicenter studies and projects carried out with the National Research Fund.
