Enrico Bertini, is a pediatric neurologist leading the Clinical, Diagnostic and Research Laboratory Unit of Neuromuscolar and Neurodegenerative Diseases, and the Laboratory of Molecolar Medicine of the Bambino Gesù Children’s Hospital, in Rome. He is Contarct Professor of Pediatric Neurology, and, has consolidated and world wide known expertise in neuromuscular disorders. He is a member of several Scientific Societies and is a member of Scientific Committees of several patents associations (SMA, Mitocondrial Disorders). He has long lasting experience in the organisation of the team, in providing funds for care and research, in setting national and international collaborations. Enrico Bertini is member of several scientific associations and organizations including

  • Diagnosis and follow-up of neuromuscular disorders;
  • Trials in Spinal Muscular Atrophy;
  • Trials in Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy;
  • Collagen VI deficiency disorders;
  • Congenital muscular dystrophies;
  • Mitochondrial disorders;
  • Spastic paraplegia;
  • Leukodystrophies;
  • Congenital Ataxia.
